Welcome to a Scientific Guide to Candy!

Here’s a fun no-prep, candy-themed STEM activity that parents can get behind: Analyzing 3D surface profiles of popular candy (and some of their wrappers)! Help your kids understand how the 3D shape, texture and defectivity of candy is important to achieve candy flavor. We’ll make it easy for you – After playing around with the 3D surfaces, simply download the application note in the info box of each candy surface to teach them the science behind this fun material science activity.
